Rome offices

Project details

Outcome of an invited competition won in 2014 with Alfio Grifoni and Massimo Bernardi, the complete renovation of this building located in Via Veneto in Rome was an opportunity to confront a historic building and turn it into a building for offices and efficiently to meet current market demands. The structural and technological adaptation, developed in collaboration with Conteco Engineering Ltd., was integrated into the architectural design with particular care in reducing the impact of the plant equipment on the environment. The previous distribution through blind passages and interspersed with supporting walls has been replaced by spaces delimited equipped windows and walls which incorporate the main walls. The project is characterized by the pursuit of maximum uniformity and harmony between the materials used, such as travertine, oak and stainless steel, which create a unified image of the environments from the entrance on Via Veneto up to this terrace on the sixth plan.
